Pre-enrolment Conditions & Student Declaration

  • 1.

    I declare that the information contained in this application is true and correct.

  • 2.

    I confirm that I have read a copy of Barton College current prospectus, Student Handbook and information available on www.BC.edu.au and fully understand the information about fee and the course.

  • 3.

    I consent to DHA providing Barton College with any information about my visa status from the time of my application to the time of my departure from Australia.

  • 4.

    I understand that this application form and the availability of Barton’s complaint and appeals processes do not remove my right to take actions under Australia’s consumer protection laws.

  • 5.

    I understand that it is compulsory to be covered by Overseas Student Health Cover while I am on a student visa.

  • 6.

    I understand that Australian law requires student visa holders to notify their Education Provider of any change of address and contact details within 7 days.

  • 7.

    I understand that continuation in the course/s depends upon satisfactory course progress and attendance (20 hours per week). Failure to meet these conditions will result in my case being reported by Barton College to Department of Home Affairs.

    I understand that information collected about me may be shared between the registered provider and the Australian Government and designated authorities and, if relevant, the Tuition Protection Services (TPS). This information includes personal and contact details, course enrolment details and changes, and the circumstance of any suspected breach by the student of a student visa condition. In other instances information collected on this form can be disclosed without your consent where authorised or required by law.
